Armo in Support of U.G.I.

The Unione Genitori Italiani contro il tumore dei bambini(UGI) – the Italian Parents’ Union Against Childhood Cancer – is a volunteer organization founded by parents of children with cancer. Its mission is to support families throughout the treatment process, helping them navigate personal, financial, and logistical challenges.

UGI provides recreational and educational activities for young patients, supports medical research and treatment by funding scholarships for doctors and researchers, and invests in medical equipment. The organization also promotes training and awareness in pediatric oncology. Today, UGI relies on the dedication of over 200 active volunteers.

Armo has been a long-time supporter of UGI, making annual donations because we believe in its vital role. Among the many worthy charitable initiatives, UGI stands out as a unique and essential organization, ensuring both medical care and emotional support for young cancer patients and their families. These families face overwhelming changes in their daily lives as they navigate a difficult and often painful journey.

Even the smallest act of generosity can bring hope and solidarity.
