Industrial lifting tables: what are they and what are they used for?

Industrial lifting tables are lifting machines used to lift and position various products within the warehouse.

They are available in both standard and custom size formats. Also known as industrial lifting tables or lifting tables, they are produced and designed for different uses, from light-duty to heavy-duty models and in different models, from compactable to extra lift tables, without forgetting those dedicated to truck loading and unloading.

How do industrial lifting tables work?

The industrial lifting tables have two floors (base and upper frame) able to support different weights and loads. A lifting system, which is operated through a complex hydraulic system, allows the load to be positioned at different heights. The safety of the system is guaranteed thanks to  hydraulic valves and strong and high quality materials.

Industrial lifting tables: how much does maintenance cost?

Although the maintenance cost of industrial lifting tables varies according to the model, the annual investment to be supported tends to be in a range between 500 and 2.500 euros.

The maintenance of the lifting tables, if carried out by specialized technicians, allows to know which components are the most worn, in advance, in order to proceed with the replacement of the spare part instead of the whole structure. You can get in touch with our technicians for any further information!

Industrial lifting tables: what are they and which to choose?

Industrial lifting tables are divided into:

– light series lifting tables

– extra-flat lifting tables

– custom made tables

– truck loading tables

– tables for connecting two floors

In the field of logistics, tables with pantograph lifts are the most widely used type. Made with a pantograph mechanism which is able to lift even very heavy loads, these solutions can be an excellent alternative to cranes and freight elevators.

How much do lifting tables cost?

The price depends on the customer’s needs; the quotation is made after careful analysis and mainly depends on the dimensions, the capacity, the stroke and the necessary accessories.

What is the maximum capacity of a lifting table?

The maximum capacity of a lifting table can vary according to the model and the application needs.

Actually, according to the specifications, it goes from 500 kg of the most compact models to 40 tons which is typical of the most robust solutions.

What are loading bays and what are they for?

The loading bays are special structures placed at the entrance of industrial warehouses which allow an optimization of the flow of loading/unloading goods.

They are formed by four main elements, namely:

  •  Dock levellers
  •  Dock shelters
  •  Sectional doors
  •  Truck blocking systems

Made to measure for each warehouse, they also allow an improvement of personnel safety, with a reduction in the rate of accidents at work, as a result.

Why do loading docks have to have a ladder?

Loading bays usually have a ladder adjacent to the outside wall to allow the operator to enter from the outside yard.

How many loading bays does my warehouse need?

The number of loading bays to be implemented within a warehouse is related to several factors, such as:

– Location and size of accesses

– Flow and volume of goods

– Dimensions of the yards

In order to reduce the costs of a hypothetical expansion of the number of bays, it is advisable to design loading bays already prepared for insertion in new buildings; Armo follows the customer also in the design phase.

How much do loading bays cost?

The price of the loading bays depends a lot on the quantity, model, characteristics and accessories. They can start from 5.000 up to 20.000 euro.

What are industrial closures and what are they used for?

The technical industrial closures are frames specifically designed to isolate factories, warehouses and industrial sheds from the external environment.

Built using materials such as aluminum, PVC, polyester and steel, they are customizable through windows, portholes and doors of various types that make them particularly effective according to the application needs.

There are also important differences in terms of technical design. In fact we find:

– industrial folding closures

– industrial coiling closures

– Fast-packing industrial closures

– Self-supporting and repairing industrial closures

– Manual industrial closures

– Motorized industrial closures

Each type has different features and benefits, allowing you to find the right industrial door for your needs.

Industrial doors: how they work

The operation of industrial doors varies, of course, depending on the type of door in question.

Packet industrial doors, for example, are particularly robust as they are equipped with metal support bars inside, which makes them particularly suitable for windy climates.

Thanks to vertical bulkheads that can be folded back on themselves, however, folding industrial doors allow a considerable reduction in overall dimensions.

For maximum speed of opening and closing, you can instead rely on the self-winding industrial doors, with a strong PVC structure that can be completely rolled up.

In any case, the presence of high-sensitivity photocells on every type of industrial closure allows these devices to operate in total safety, preventing accidental closure in the presence of personnel transit.

How long do industrial locks last?

The duration of an industrial closure can vary depending on the environment in which it is used (external atmospheric agents) and on its operation (frequency of opening/closing).

On average, however, the time interval between maintenance operations is between 4 and 12 months.

How much does an industrial sectional door cost?

The price of industrial sectional overhead doors depends very much on the quantity, model, features and accessories. It can start from 3.000 up to 10.000 euro.

What are rapid roll-up doors?

The rapid roll-up doors are a type of industrial closure created to respond essentially to two needs:

– to connect and separate environments with maximum rapidity

– optimize thermal insulation and consequently consumption

The secret that guarantees the perfect functioning of a rapid roll-up door is enclosed in the polyester mantle, capable of making the door flexible and roll-up, and in the sturdy uprights equipped with guides with sliding devices.

This is completed by the use of the latest generation of electric motors that allow a reduction in the frequency of maintenance operations.

What are folding industrial doors?

Folding industrial doors are the perfect solution for those who are looking for a large industrial closure that can at the same time guarantee a minimum amount of space when opened.

Equipped with underground guides, folding industrial doors are essentially made up of a series of rigid wings (even large ones) that fold completely on themselves when opened.

This design feature brings with it many advantages, such as:

– absence of encumbrances on the ground, but above all maximum lateral and vertical compactness.

– less number of pieces used, and therefore high silence in movement.

– reduced maintenance

– excellent thermal insulation

Finally, thanks to the characteristics of width and stiffness of the wings, the industrial folding doors can be customized with large transparent surfaces, so as to exploit the natural external light and reduce lighting costs.

Industrial tilters: what they are and what they are used for

Industrial tilters are sturdy L-shaped devices that find various applications in industrial handling. As the name suggests, they are used to tilt an industrial enclosure by 90 degrees. They are widely used to do this operation with coils, both paper and sheet metal.

In fact, being able to overturn even very heavy or bulky objects in total safety and without the slightest effort (thanks to an electro-hydraulic system), the tilters are essential for operations such as:

– Pallet replacement;

– Tilting of the work surface to facilitate the movement of the load inside container modules;

– Organization and optimization of warehouse space thanks to the vertical/horizontal arrangement of goods.

How do industrial tilts work?

Industrial tilters consist of a solid base anchored to the ground and a pivot on which a sturdy L-shaped structure rotates.

This structure in turn has different characteristics depending on the intended use (tipping of pallets or reels). Finally, industrial tilters can rotate to different degrees depending on the model, with device dimensions that can be fully customized according to customer needs.

How much do industrial tilters cost?

Depending on the customer’s needs, from 9,000 euros upwards.

What is the maximum capacity of an industrial tilter?

The maximum capacity of an industrial tilter can vary depending on the intended use. However, these devices can also handle extremely heavy loads.

In the case of our tilters for reels, in fact, the maximum capacity can reach a threshold of 14 tons.
